Nevin leads our disputes practice in Istanbul. She focuses on intellectual property litigation—injunctions, infringement and invalidity actions—with additional experience in commercial law. She serves as Vice Chair of AIPPI’s Standing Committee on Patents. A Koç University Law graduate, she holds an LL.M in IP & Competition Law (primarily organised by the Max Planck Institute). She regularly publishes, speaks at national and international seminars, and provides in‑house IP trainings and pro bono support in criminal and animal‑rights matters.

Ekrem Soylu

Consultant, European & Turkish Patent Attorney · Mech. Eng. · IP STAR 2025

Ekrem is a qualified European Patent Attorney with 20+ years across multinational industry and private practice. In pharma, he led Sanovel’s (leading Generics producer) 15‑person in‑house patent department, overseeing a 3,000+ patent portfolio and EPO proceedings. In industry, he founded BSH Bosch and Siemens Home Appliances Group IP department in Türkiye and served as Regional IP Manager covering Turkey, Middle East, Africa, Russia & CIS. He brings hands‑on experience in FTO, oppositions, and enforcement, aligning IP strategy with commercial outcomes.
